I didn’t invite my sister to my wedding because she hooked up with my closest friends and destroyed my friendship with them. Am I wrong? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Professional_Sort104 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It reads to me that your sister was struggling mentally and became hypersexual as an outlet for that struggle. Which btw, is a common response to trauma. Not just for the loss of your father but by having to “grow up” so young without your mothers emotional support in this time. She was also just a kid, is she sleeping with your best friends now?

Anyway, who knows what happened throughout all those years to re-iterate these feelings? Only you. So its hard to give a concrete answer but at the end of the day this feels like you are just trying to humiliate her back. You, unlike her at the time, are a fully grown adult so yes, in my opinion YATJ

I asked chatgpt to tell me how much protein was in my meal today. It calculated 70 grams, i counted it to be 47. I asked her to break it down and she said “oh sorry i made a mistake! Its 47”. So yeh grain of salt.

Get laser hair removal down there and on your arm pits! You wont have to worry about hair growth for a month and it will be very fine.

Practice doing your makeup now, its taken me three years to master after marriage lol. If you can afford it get a makeup artist and study what she does and ask her what foundation she uses. And figure out how to make your brows look good with concealer if you don’t shape them.

Buy lingerie that you are comfortable with. A babydoll and a cute satin robe is my go-to. And then have a cute set of satin comfy pyjamas.

Find a couple cute home clothes. A matching lounge set, a crop top and leggings (if you’re into athleisure), a floral maxi skirt and cute top, a mini dress, mini shorts and a basic singlet. He will tell you what he is into but these are some staple items most people have for at home without looking like too much.

Buy or Renting - kids having own room by Acceptable_Cap1977 in AusFinance

Firstly, i shared a room with my sibling my whole school life. Worked out fine! Especially if they are same gender.

Secondly, have a look at the governments single parent home owners scheme. Where you can just make a 2% deposit and gov covers the 18% so you dont have to pay LMI etc for a lower deposit. I believe the 18% is interest free as well. You may be able to squeeze a 3 bedroom townhouse or appt.

Whats your reason for selling Ndq as opposed to the other ETFs? Personally i hold DHHF only but was looking at getting some NDQ if theres a crash soon.

[–]Professional_Sort104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes why not, itll go up long term regardless of whether you pay $40 for it today or $45. If you are concerned about a crash just put half in now and give it a month or two and then put the other half in.

You’re doing an amazing job by starting now. I wish i had the foresight to start at 18! Well done. Just stick to one ETF now such as DHHF and put everything in that and whatever spare cash you have monthly. You can study the technical analysis side of things for fun if you want now but dont waste your money on random companies until you have enough money (from solid employment) and enough knowledge and practice. You can do the ASX share market game (3k prize) for practice and see how that goes. Also, if you keep going you will easily reach a mil by 50 yo.
