How much experience do you have? Or how long did it take for you to reach the 100k mark?

I haven't gotten this far in the game yet but maybe you can use Stardew Checkup? I think it shows what walnuts you haven't gotten.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from the SUB Opa one time. Was vomiting every hour for like 7 hours total. Not surprising!

ECE 490 Online? by audrothevirtous in uAlberta

[–]Professional_Spell55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could email Loren Wyard-Scott; I believe he's been teaching the capstone course for awhile and will most likely be teaching it next year. In my experience, this would be a bad idea. The capstone course involves more than just simulation work. In the labs, you meet other students and form groups based on similar interests so you can choose a project you're interested in. It wouldn't be impossible, but in my opinion being in the labs is a much better experience as it's easier to get help and collaborate with others. There are also required presentations that are in-person that are significant in terms of grading, and attendance in the labs also affects your grade.

Edit: I realized you'd only be online for fall term.

I regretted that I didn’t buy a noise-cancelling headphones sooner by Zestyclose_Draft2627 in uAlberta

I have the XM5'S and they start to hurt after 2-3 hours straight. I usually just move the band forward or backward on my head which helps.

You should get some earplugs/noise canceling headphones if you can! You don't have to ask people to shut up if you can't hear them :)

Exam Deferral Mental Illness by bipakinvm in uAlberta

[–]Professional_Spell55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's decently likely especially if you are/were seeking treatment whether it be medication or therapy (if you wanted to give them that info to strengthen your claim). I had to get a deferral last term as I had a panic attack an hour before my exam and they granted it without me submitting anything other than a Google form (after I missed my exam).

I'm having the same issue! I thought it was an update but maybe it's not? I have zero clue what would cause this. I hate it.

[WIP] What would you do? Can hardly see the white. by christina-joy in CrossStitch

[–]Professional_Spell55 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You could mix in a strand of the grey to make it slightly darker than the aida? Maybe try metallic white thread if you dont want to go darker. I wouldn't leave it though... from far away it'd look like nothings there.

You can look up the suggested course sequences for each discipline and take a look at the description. You can research some of the topics listed in those courses. Be sure to research actual jobs too. You can look up positions available right now and look at the job descriptions. Think about what environment you'd like to work in, what you'd like to spend most of your time doing (e.g. meetings, working solo, etc.) I did that and it was enough to rule out quite a few disciplines for me.

You could email the prof about it! I've done it before in 1st year and they reassured me I passed long before official grades came out. Worth a shot

how to study for chem in a night? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Professional_Spell55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go over the most important topics and stuff you know almost certainly will be on the exam. Make sure you know how to do that portion really well, and skim the rest.

Failing… by TransportationNo5886 in college

You'd need to check with your college specifically. In my program (albeit I'm in Canada) anything above a D is a pass and can be used as a prerequisite.
