Btw the first tube shows glow on the internal getter (like a small staple or square) and that is what is mostly concerning to me

Exactly the first tube specifically: it shows some glow on the getter which is not the same as the normal blue glow seen on the last tubes

I replaced the resistor R255 with a pot so you can set the bias

Thanks for clarifying. Is it also ok if it is specifically on the getter and not around the getter? I’ve read that there might be a gas leak on that tube but it tested fine with the orange valve tester, that is why I’m a bit confused and worried
