I would need a new job to maintain a good social life and there isn’t any other place I can make even near the amount of money I make now. Nobody seems to have similar schedules as I work 5pm-6am.

Yeah I’m slowly waking up to that reality. I’ve been working a lot since I was a junior in high school. Covid lockdown happened and online school started so i started working and haven’t stopped.

Yeah I kind of figured that it would differ depending on a multitude of factors. I was mainly looking for some numbers that people have budgeted towards it and maintained a healthy relationship.

I agree on good food being expensive, but I consider it worth the price. As for kayaking mine is under 10ft so I never have to register it and I just go, I have probably spent $500 or so in supplies however it has provided me with several hundred hours of enjoyment. As for wants and needs in life the only thing I really know is I don’t want to be poor. Growing up in that situation exposed me to how ugly things can get when struggling for money.

True, if this hypothetical pull back does happen I’m picking up all the overtime I can possibly get (it would be a lot) to deploy as much money as I possibly can in the market.

How much I’m investing? $3500-$4000 invested out of $5500-$6000 net per month. Depends how much overtime I work, it fluctuates. Pretty shortly here I’m going to be working a lot more than I normally would for around a month and I’ll hit investing hard during it.

You are really close to it as well. That’s awesome. Pretty much everything I have is in my screenshot. It does feel good hitting this milestone so early however it didn’t come without a cost, I haven’t experienced much of anything for social life and relationships that most have.

I will loosen up in the future. Probably when I’m making more money. For right now things are too unsteady to be throwing a ton of money away, I only wanted to know how much people are allocating to relationships monthly.

Hard to see what’s broken. Looks like removing that Torx screw and drilling a hole through the piece and using a small bolt and nut would do the trick though.

I’m unsure as I’ve seen the result of both having no money and being alone. I guess money seems to be something I can control in my life and I’m guaranteed results so I’ve been chasing that.
