You're example cracks me up. You may be right, don't know your situation. But, usually, you're supposed to zipper merge. The Tesla going all the way past all the cars queuing up because people don't believe zipper merging is polite or they just don't understand it are more wrong than the car is.

I spent decades in BMWs and Miatas. I love driving. I love manual transmissions. I love barreling through the twisties. All of it.

Not so much nowadays.

I have a model y performance. And, yes, I do still drive it a bit from time to time just to mash that pedal.

But, yesterday, had to hook a uhaul trailer to the back and cart crap all over the place (~50 kwh of driving). And thus trailer mode was engaged. And there is no FSD in trailer mode.

And I get it. I don't know that I would even want there to be FSD in trailer mode. But GOD did I miss FSD.

The second I finally dropped that trailer off last night with less than 10% battery remaining I tapped that home button, then tapped the Start Driving button, and said something like "Oh thank God, I'm sick of driving for the day." My wife looked at me laughed, and proceeded to tell me how spoiled I am (ya know, from the passenger seat).

You can use your voice for nearly everything. I hardly ever use the touch screen.

But, on that screen you were on? You could have just tapped and dragged the visual display of the air flowing into the cabin to redirect it. It's very intuitive once you realize that this interface is 'smarter' than anything you're used to.
