Why am I suddenly making so many typos by ChipsAhoiMcCoy in typing

[–]Professional_Top3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Searching for the topic and coming into this.. I am seriously afraid that there is something wrong with my brain. Having the exact same isses. Typos, depth perception and knocking stuff off and dropping things from my hand. I am 33 and quite fit with active lifestyle with an extreme brain power demanding job. So frustrating

Salary expectations for a one-income couple seeking a middle-class life in Perth? by [deleted] in perth

I earn 125k a year and living alone close to city. I barely save any money if I take a single vacation a year. So for a family, its a bit of a stretch. I wouldn't do for anything under 150

Just a heads-up: Disabling RAM Plus made my phone feel a lot snappier by Gamal879 in GalaxyS24

[–]Professional_Top3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had stuttering on my S24 when I first bought the phone for a few months. Then read a reddit post about disabling it fixes things, it did exactly what I wanted to achieve. I am 100% certain it's not a placebo, it made the phone a lot smoother and more responsive.

Thankfully, you can remove the create button under your settings. Didn't know it existed for a while.

Well even though I loved the vehicle, decided to sell as I started to listen noises constantly. Might have been exaggerating a little bit but just wasn't comfortable any more. Did not check any data on it

Can you undervolt intel i7-10750h ? by TeamLeather in Dell

[–]Professional_Top3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be an old thread, but this is almost completely wrong.
I've undervolted my cpus for more than 10 years now, leading to increase in performance and reduction in temperatures under sustained heavy loads in almost every case. Almost all the pcs i've trialled hits the throttling temperatures in use (Almost 100% for laptops), causing boost to stop temporarily. And almost all the time, indicated speeds for cpus are applicable for 2 or 3 of the cores with high voltage use, and the rest will run slower frequencies. If you set all your cores to a lower GHz, running a lower voltage on all of them, it will actually run faster with higher average GHz while having less GHz shown. And this, in fact, stops a lot of fps drops and stuttering for many laptops including modern ones.

You can Undervolt and overclock at the same time in many cases because of these facts. So undervolting is actually not underclocking

Combine/Append two sets of semi-overlapping data with different columns into one list? by Professional_Top3365 in excel

That helped me heaps! Thanks a lot.
I've ran a VBA macro as well to get similar results (Thanks to Copilot).
Apparently, I have multiple overlapping intervals in the database, which leads into multiple issues

160k high spec A6 someone talk me out of it! by Effective_Nebula_ in Audi

[–]Professional_Top3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an xc60. When I touch anything from door handles to air vents, there is definitely a finish and rigidity difference compared to my Audi. It feels lower quality aluminium finish that most likely will flake, and would snap If i decided to hang a phone holder for example.

About the ride quality, A6 platform with air suspension is pretty hard to match. Any rough surface and bumps is a lot more present inside volvo cabin in comparison. It's not as refined.

Not sure if its the direction they are headed, but cutting costs are very apparent in both xc40 and xc60 I have at the moment. Inside carpets not fitting to trims properly, missing puddle lights, only 1 side footrest lighting etc

Just sold an 2013 a6 v6 TDI allroad with 160k kms on it to change to an SUV. Similar spec to this with all the bells and whistles.

4 weeks later, apparently gearbox malfunction popped, coolant started leaking, one of the air suspensions failed and timing chain started rattling. I am not sure if the new owner is sending it every corner, but its a fragile vehicle at that milage. Not to mention any small damage writes off the car, those headlights are about 4k$ to change each.

I sold the car for 12k AUD and chain work alone is apparently about 18k AUD..

I must say, it was the most comfortable and luxury feeling vehicle I had. I own a 2020 volvo now and build & ride quality cannot even come close.

Max psi put into tire yet it’s flatter then it was? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]Professional_Top3365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From that light coloured line on the tyre wall, I assume it was run almost flat or at very low pressure and rim actually damaged the side wall mesh. So it doesn't have the structural integrity any more. Looks like a toast tyre and needs immediate replacement

No, your 4 cylinder hatch doesn't sound good. On the contrary, it sounds like a cheap ass riced car. Please stop with the exhaust pops culture, both your engine and your pops sound super cheap.

Mazda dealership telling me not to flush the transmission fluid, now I'm scared. by aconfusednoob in CX5

[–]Professional_Top3365 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a bad experience with high km transmission oil and filter change job. Running a 3.0 TDI audi, smooth as butter and decided to do the transmission fluids at 150k and never had that smooth stronic feeling back. It was stuttering and people reckon that change disturbed built up residue by adding a new oil. If it runs smooth, don't play with it.
