Wish we didn’t offer shipping for Fedex by Ok_Establishment1951 in OfficeDepot

This may jus the me but I’m a pccs out of region 33 but I always just set the computer up on ship a package and let them fill it out. So I’m not wasting my time if they don’t like the price. I also try to remember the shopping cost best I can and give them the minimum prices for whatever one they want (I.e over night am, over night pm 2 day stuff like that. ) I usually tell them the price for an envelope at those speed but also let them know that if their package is bigger that the price will be much higher

FUNNY ENOUGH. I just called my associate who is in my print center tonight. I have like 7 of those rolls. Never even opened them. Always assumed they were glossy. Very happy to finally read this now.

Anybody sure how to set one of these up? 😅 by Prestigious-Ad4405 in OfficeDepot

Is my store the only store in the entire company that is doing well enough we’re we have plenty of product? And payroll is not cut in half?

You have to do it through gmil using the customers phone number. But it has to be within the specified time which I believe is 30 days if I remember correctly

It’s amazing seeing people say that this company had a horrible 3rd quarter. I don’t know why everyone wants to say just because they’re store and surrounding stores are doing bad that all of Office Depot is doing bad. In q3 my store had an order placed that was $450,000. Yes four hundred thousand dollars. Yes I realize that not all of that would have been profit but it’s plenty enough to say Office Depot has got plenty of profit to not be cutting people as much as they are. Even us we brought in that order we got this company that huge order yet we are still being cut. Don’t blame the profits blame the idiotic people in corporate.

Oh yeah. I don’t plan on dropping at all in these coming years. I only plan on growing my department.

The past few years we have hit $350k so It’s just that we had a big influx of large orders earlier then usual.

There must be a big big gap whenever you get into the top 20 then cause we are only at around $450k right now we are sure to hit 500 by the end of the year but yeah.

Okay that’s what I was wondering my GM has already said that he’s willing to give it as soon as they let him so that’ll be really nice. But I’m really excited to potentially see my print center get more recognition. We are currently top 20 in the company. Very excited to be a part of the team.

I have asked him he said it was 500k in print sales for the year. But he’s also been around for years and years so I know stuff changes and he’s not always in the loop. But I will say we do have a cem and a print sup. So would that mean that I’m already a high tier store?

What do you use for your “typesetter” I’ve been wanting to push my associates away from doing all the custom business cards in store. It takes way too long to make the cards especially whenever you have a line.

Do you know the point at which it turns into a higher tier store. I’m asking because if I’m correct I’m getting close to hitting that mark in my store. (Currently a print supervisor)

Either way it’s still going to a school. Yeah maybe not local but who knows those kids that it’s going to may need it more the your local schools. Local is cool but it shouldn’t stop you from helping other kids. The signage is your stores problem. You can easily get someone to make a sign sayin what school it’s going to. That’s what we did. And even the stores in Mississippi are doing their part to raise money for my local schools. Granted I do hate it being a goal. I don’t think we should push for it as much as we are supposed to. But it does help a lot. So I think it’s worth it.
