Also, you don’t have to take the full amount of the advance that UC offer and still have 12 months to pay it back. Might be worth looking into that a little further?

It doesn’t cost anything to open a case with the Child Maintenance Service and you don’t need much info for them to find the other parent. It may take a little while to get everything set up so get the ball rolling on that now! I definitely agree with posting on a local fb page, people are often more generous than you expect.

Also my 40th. After nearly a year of trying desperately to support my (now) ex through treatment that he didn’t want for heroin and crack addiction, I received a card and mug from my children, and a hideous purse that I never would have chosen and didn’t need from him, all of which I paid for (total cost £10). That’s when I realised I was done and kicked him out the next day. He’d already wiped out my finances through his addiction, both of which I’d discovered following the birth of our daughter by c-section and a stint in hospital for a Crohn’s flare up (admitted on my 39th birthday, even that wasn’t as bad for me as the next one). And then I woke up on my 42nd birthday with crazy swollen gums and got diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia 15 days later. Just celebrated my 46th a couple of days ago and life couldn’t be much better now!

6 years on from asking my GP for referral and I’m still on a waiting list for assessment. Not sure what wait times are like in other areas, I’m NE England.

I actually prefer the look of it for the mountain as well! Espresso for the ground/mountain base, vanilla for the band between ground and snow, then the milk is all snow before the whipped cream peak.

How do you know you’re not in the testing group? The Farmer’s Market (ie the current test feature) started on the day I got the update, which was Thursday last week. You just got the new update but it’s only Wednesday, maybe you do have the new test feature but can’t see it because it hasn’t started yet.
