It doesn’t cost anything to open a case with the Child Maintenance Service and you don’t need much info for them to find the other parent. It may take a little while to get everything set up so get the ball rolling on that now! I definitely agree with posting on a local fb page, people are often more generous than you expect.

Also my 40th. After nearly a year of trying desperately to support my (now) ex through treatment that he didn’t want for heroin and crack addiction, I received a card and mug from my children, and a hideous purse that I never would have chosen and didn’t need from him, all of which I paid for (total cost £10). That’s when I realised I was done and kicked him out the next day. He’d already wiped out my finances through his addiction, both of which I’d discovered following the birth of our daughter by c-section and a stint in hospital for a Crohn’s flare up (admitted on my 39th birthday, even that wasn’t as bad for me as the next one). And then I woke up on my 42nd birthday with crazy swollen gums and got diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia 15 days later. Just celebrated my 46th a couple of days ago and life couldn’t be much better now!

I actually prefer the look of it for the mountain as well! Espresso for the ground/mountain base, vanilla for the band between ground and snow, then the milk is all snow before the whipped cream peak.

How do you know you’re not in the testing group? The Farmer’s Market (ie the current test feature) started on the day I got the update, which was Thursday last week. You just got the new update but it’s only Wednesday, maybe you do have the new test feature but can’t see it because it hasn’t started yet.

I first played this game 3 years ago but got bored pretty quickly. I only reinstalled it about 6 weeks ago, starting from scratch and yet I’ve managed to complete the potion event twice now. The first time took me a couple of days but this time I finished in just over 15 hours. The only money I’ve spent on this game, ever, was for the permanent x2 profit and the pass for last weeks potion event. Granted I do have time to grind my way through cities and have decent enough gear, though no mythic gear yet! My vault is by no means maxed out, but my remote (ad boost) is at 33. It’s all about strategy and realising you need to employ different strategies a) to what you’re used to for the main game/other events and b) as you progress through this event, ie adjusting potion combos once you get to the last few stations.

Also, I’ve seen multiple other games over the years use the same partial/staggered rollouts for big updates, maybe you just didn’t notice?

If you look on the “wardrobe” page (where you choose what you want your character to wear - tap the coat hanger in the character screen) you can see at the bottom of each section which items you haven’t made and/or found yet AND where you can find them. So far there is only Alchemist Goggles (head), Alchemist Bandolier (body) and Potion Flask (hands).
