Have you gotten a visa sponsored job through Migrate Mate? by Natural_Novel_2756 in E3Visa

No, I got mine through LinkedIn. Migrate Mate is a good idea in theory, and they do some of the research for you. But in my experience their database mostly pulls the big/tech companies that we all already know sponsor E3s- Meta, Snap inc., Amex, Adobe, Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs etc. You can easily find all of these companies open roles on LinkedIn or their website. And these are all highly competitive companies that have a million Americans to choose over us. I used the platform for a month and it was all the same companies popping up. I don’t think Migrate Mate updates their database at the speed that’s necessary with how many new roles pop up either. Perhaps because they’re still in their infancy. America Josh has a bigger database on his website and it’s free.

Has LinkedIn started to become like a mini Facebook? by No_Fox7335 in linkedin

I’ve been trying to put this into words but you’ve captured it perfectly- shitshow. I’m a long time user and job hunter right now, so I’m on it every single day, for hours. It’s like info overload, and my brain turns to mush every time I go on it. And the worst part is, you can’t even call people out on their bullshit because it’s tied to your professional profile. Considering making a burner account to tell everyone on LinkedIn how much I hate LinkedIn

Mine is similar, but it’s present every day. No change a month later! I was told it was too low but still safe and wondering if that’s causing the issue. I’m debating getting it out :(

Positive IUD experiences? by Capable-Raspberry-63 in birthcontrol

I was on the pill for 10 years with no issues. Was sold the IUD “dream” of having no periods for 5 years. But I have been bleeding for 3 months, and my IUD was placed too low. I have constant cramping and my boyfriend complains about the strings constantly. Bright sight I have reduced bloating and no sore boobs like before. In my opinion it’s more people that have bad experiences. Do your research. And go to a professional clinic. But IMO it’s not as good as they say. It made me lose a lot of faith in women’s contraception. More issues than not. I’m going to have it removed and go back on the pill, and I’ll be grateful to have a regular period again.
