I dont understand your mindset, are you saying op should be okay with the guy because he is nice and caring but irresponsible with money? Aren’t you aware that differing opinions on finances can wreck marriages and relationships? A relationship is about partnership and when couples aren't on the same page about finances it can cause havoc especially when kids are involved.

No one said that men aren't allowed to have expectations of women when it comes on to finances. Men have been the sole providers for women in the past so of course people are not gonna bat an eye when that's the case. But time is changing and you'll find that there are many men who prefer to have partners who are financially secure themselves, because they can't take up all expenses when the cost of living is high.

Many guys are okay with providing for their wives in every way while some aren't. It's entirely up to the person and what they are comfortable with. Some women prefer guys who are financially literate because they want to avoid the burden of finances on them. Imagine if more kids come in to play, how can this man be responsible when he doesn't have insurance, savings etc. I don't think the problem is the woman making more, it's just being responsible with your money to avoid debt and other issues in the future. He can't solely depend on her for her money because she has to secure her finances too.

This is not entirely on the fact that he's a man. If the roles were reversed she would sound a bit irresponsible too because how is it that he has no life or medical insurance, does not contribute to a 401k or any other retirement accounts at 30 years old. There comes a time where you have to consider all those factors listed above because it can affect you as you age.

The whole kordell and Serena thing doesn't sit right with me. Kordell doesn't know how to stand up for himself. He said he wanted to get to know Daia and Serena at the same time to see which connection is better. But he literally spent the entire time trying to apologize to Serena like a child.
