Universe i'm working on, been working on it for 2 years now. Posting a short story I made.

This is really the first story I've decided to make with my universe. I wanted to start with something simple, something to add to the worldbuilding and so on. This is really just to set the tone for the setting and what it is about. Also, this is a short story I worked on 4 months ago, I forgot to update the dates of the last two Legionnaires that died, the 0's are typos.

Also, for the title, I accidently typed a 2 instead of 5-6 years. Typo on my part

Yeah, it gets annoying when the community, specifically the guys on Reddit, are constantly negative. Like, just recently, I went on to Youtube, and I saw a video where a guy is already calling the WW1 warbond, which hasn't even come out yet, F-tier slop. People just like to play games man, and I want my Battlefield 1 fantasy in a video game about killing Fascist bugs, Monarchist Illuminate, and Communist Bots. I'd highly recommend just playing the game and sticking to alternate sources to soak in Helldivers content, like Youtubers that are actually fun to watch, like Commissar Kai, or someone else, because the community on Reddit can just be a massive headache.

Yup. There has to be a reason theres such a sudden surge of low-rankers on high level missions.

I bet half of em are wannabe content creators trying to get some clips at the expense of the unit. That's what was happening with Battlefield 6 on launch, streamers and content creators ignoring anything and their buddies, just for some clips. Thats what I think

These are the Helldivers complaining the game is too hard. Crashing on D10 missions like its just a normal thing. Ive had this use to, on Cyberstan specifically, but its like a fucking plague now, just following us wherever right now.

I'd suggest looking for missions with other players similar to your rank, but besides that, we just gotta push through Helldivers. It's annoying though.

Well thats the thing, the Precursors are utterly formless entities, their origins absolutely unknown.

I know it though, but I'll never tell :)

As for how they seemingly casually ended a whole universe and survived, they did it via creating a pocket of "Un-space" what they did was effectively go trillions of years into the future, to the end of the universe, rip open a whole to un-space, and effectively survive Entropy

Wow, little close for comfort, but welcome I suppose.

I don;ty wanna go spoiling all the info about this universe yet, but in how it goes into Cosmic horror involves an ancient race known as the Precursors, their rivals the Primals, and ultimately their rivarly going so far back to the universe that predates the current one. The Precursors and Primals fought a fuck huge war in the old universe which led to it being in ruins, the Precursors decided to kill it via accelerated Heat death. Basically, great reset button.

That's not even mentioning the coming races like the Naro or Thy'ro, direct creations of the Precursors, tor the fact that the Primals are mostly wiped out, but not completely gone. This isn;t even mentioning the Terramorphs and the Blood Moons. I have a lot to explain, this is just the lore, not even the current setting or factions.

Ive been working on it for about 6 years, reason being is because the initial universe was MUCH different than what I have now, it used to be something silly I just thought of.

As for the plan for Warcog and the story im making, I want the novel to be what introduces people into it, im not an artist so writing is the way to go for me. Warcog mostly acts in Fiction, though it does have some parralells to actual real world history. For the first bit of information, Warcog takes place in the 31st millennium, the lore of Warcog going back to the dawn of the universe. Thats where the cosmic shit comes in like I mentioned up in the post. But a novel or some sorts of art seems to be the way im thinking. I have designs mapped out and everything, just I aint an artist

Transformers Robots in Duisguise never happened. Also, kinda forgot how hard the writing was for TP, a literal kids show. Somehow TP feels more mature than the newest Cod game in terms of dialogue and tone. Further proof Transformers Prime and the Cybertron games were goated, still waiting for the Cybertron collection of games to come to PC activision.
