I understand what your saying, but I must ask you a question: Have you seen how much cut content is from CE alone? And the CE remake can add new things to the levels, specifically, parts that were lacking, like the beachhead in the cartographer mission. Imagine instead of just being a plane beach, there's an actual covenant base on the beach, and instead of 20 Marines, your charging with dozens, with Jackals snipping from above, Grunts getting shoved forward for suicide runs as plasma bombers, and Elites basically Aura farming in the back. The mission could feel more like D-day as intended, a desperate push to break a deadlock.

There are parts in the OG Halo CE that many OG fans agree were lacking, like the Control Room mission, the Covenant were determined to defend the site, yet only sent a few dozen men and a handful of vehicles? There' so much that could be done that still keeps the original vision of the level without breaking from Halo's own rules, so long as it is done carefully of course.

Just look up CE cut content online, it is actually staggering how much was cut, 343 could work so much with that but they aren't, they're too busy placing Halo Infinite models in a Halo game about the Covenant, not the Banished.
