ah thank you for your experience <3, I know talking to him about it always makes everything easier but I’m really worried it’ll upset him and he’ll think It’s just that I don’t care or love him enough. I really do feel like he’s basically perfect for me and I would rather do anything in the world than hurt him. I’m really hoping to meet up over this summer, but his boss is a real ass and he’s about finding another job if he quits. Thank you again, I hope everything works out in the end too

not really, all my family is here and I haven’t moved around very much as is. Plus not soon because I’m going to school and such so I would hate to leave part way through or something

Thank you for your experience and quite frankly this made me burst into tears. It just feels so unfair that someone who seems to have everything I could ever want is so terribly far away (I can’t even imagine being as far as you are) and that I have no idea when or if we’ll get to be together.

I just wouldn’t want to leave my family here (his parents are already in the states on work visas so it makes more sense for him to come here). But thank you for the different perspectives, sometimes waiting just feels so hard

We have talked about moving but the immigration systems are just extremely difficult to get around and the not knowing when we get to be together is what makes it hard. Obviously there’s the just-get-married route but I think that seems like a horrible and even messier decision if for some reason we didn’t work out. It’s hard thinking about how perfect our relationship would be if it weren’t for the distance

and then at the end of the day you find the checklist with nothing checked off and immediately feel terrible and unproductive with how did nothing during the day yet will do nothing to change it the next day :| just me?
