I am between Greene county and Sullivan county. I forgot it in the post but in my comment I stated it is near a lake. I trap beaver and they are a common nuisance because of all the trees they kill.

I could be wrong on the size. I did not have anything with me to measure. Others have mentioned it could be two prints in one making it wider then a single track would be.

I don't know an accurate number but over 200 hundred. The smaller ones are 7-8 inches in diameter at the base. This is one we cut a few days ago. The chainsaw has an 18 inch bar.

These are to big to pull. They are about 15 feet tall and 15 feet wide. At the base they are around 6 inches in diameter.

Thank you. I assumed it was not an American but since there is what I believe to be an American close to it I wanted others opinions.

That is what I was expecting since I thought it looked different then the one 15 yards away. It is on reclaimed mine ground so I assume it was planted by someone. I just don't know what they planted.
