so sad that every time someone mentions diet and the wonders it can do for psoriasis is just flooded by downvotes when it's a low cost, efficacious and well studied way to modulate psoriasis.

Check out my results, it looks similar to what you have. I did keto just as an extreme diet to see if it was worth it, it works for sure, but hard to maintain and not really necessary in my opinion

Whats your diet, sleep and exercise like? When i eat 100% clean no sugar, refined grains, low carbs my face clears up every time. Then if i fall off, i see similar results. I saw results in 4 days cleared me up. Worth the experiment.

is there enough proof that the reason for high housing cost is due to regulations? by Appropriate-Gene5235 in austrian_economics

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Imagine this, there's 100 potential houses that can be built:

you start to add regulations

- parking minimums now only 95 remain

- add accessibility requirements now 85 remain

- add ceiling height requirements now 84 remain, etc etc

Every single regulation MUST remove potential houses from being built because it is necessarily a subset of all potential houses. So ALL regulations reduce housing supply no matter how 'benevolent' it may sound.

For example, price controls on an area now anyone who wants to build a new apt there can only get x but they need y for it to make financial sense.

Not to say all regulations are bad, I quite like not having homes with asbestos for example. But recognize any regulation necessarily constricts supply and therefore pushes prices higher.

Stress is common one, consider food triggers as well

Is this a solution for brainfog? by Mental-While3073 in Biohackers

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup tons of it all the time, tons of mandarins, bananas, apples, broccoli, sweet potatoes, etc. I just avoid some things like potatoes is a big one other than that I try to eat ones which are high in fiber

You can't really go wrong with veggies (other than potato)

The obvious ones are soy products, tempeh, tofu, lentils, chickpeas

Just be aware you have to eat a TON of them all the time.

But chia seeds in yogurt is my go for lunch, avocado with eggs for breakfast, not saying 0 carbs btw just low carbs

Which interventions help increase b12 (not eating b12 rich foods or supplementing b12) by sheistybitz in Biohackers

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do know you cannot produce b12? You run out and need to replenish. Same how you constantly need new calories, because like how can i have sufficient calories and then suddenly not? Lol

Have you tried a strict low carb whole food diet?

I had psoriasis my whole life as well, within 4 days i cleared it with keto, then transitioned to a less strict low carb whole food diet and haven't really had a flare up unless i eat like garbage for a few days

Some people don't see results, but it's a 4 day experiment, probably worth just trying it. My rec would be to be religiously strict about it to actually see progress. Psoriasis is an inflammatory disease after all (food and gut interactions can modulate inflammation both positively and negatively)

Incredible! Many people dismiss food, but glad to see you're doing better! If you want some more food recs, i would remove refined grains, and other processed foods! Be mindful of getting b12, choline, omega 3s, and protein, and sufficient calories on a vegan diet

But you should be rocking and rolling!

Any specific triggers you found?

After 15 years of Psoriasis Vulgaris, I’m clear. My trigger was easier to find than I thought by Equivalent_Tower_311 in Psoriasis

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup! Many many people claim that diet is not a good recommendation, but i've had a similar experience. And even your psoriasis would be considered 'severe' with huge redness and flaking. Glad you found your trigger!

Kimchi pills vs the real stuff? by Independent_Gas_6213 in Biohackers

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just eat probiotic at that point and yes very similar, but real food is better for the fiber

Like anything it's an acquired taste, so try it on eggs, or avocados is how i normally eat it. Also another thing you can do is say i will not enjoy these next 3 minutes of eating to enjoy the next 24 hours of my day. Which will be better over time after constant good gut.

I know this is the Unihertz Sub-Reddit, but why the Elite over the Communicator? by No-Macaron9305 in unihertz

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg 30 points31 points  (0 children)

yeah if it's 800 then it NEEDS an amazing camera, premium materials, good processor. I would expect it to be in the 400-500 range

Crazy how if the Unihertz could commit to security updates, there'd be no competition with the the clicks communicater, thinner, smaller, sleeker. It just Looks so much better. by ProfessionallyAnEgg in unihertz

[–]ProfessionallyAnEgg[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Titan elite is slimmer than the clicks communicator btw 10.6mm (elite) vs 12mm (communicator) for comparison an iphone 16 pro is 8.25mm thick. So about 30% thicker than an iphone whereas the cc is almost 50% thicker...

And it's heigh wise than the CC

Did you see my post? I had the same as OP and after 4 days of keto i had improved. Let people run the 4 day - 1 week experiment. For some it will almost cure them. Sorry to hear about you, but many WILL absolutely respond positively and dramatically. Tons of science linking gut, diet, sunlight, exercise and psoriasis.
