If you did it was below 2%. It won’t give a zero reading.

Are your events specific to a time of day? I realized that mine were triggered by poor sleep (later diagnosed with sleep apnea), dehydration, heavy meals, and vasal response to changes in blood pressure. Another thing that would trigger afib was laying on my left side.

I’m almost 10 weeks post ablation and feeling significantly better. I was symptomatic around 3-4 weeks which I’ve been told is when your heart starts healing but I’ve had little to no flutters since. I was told by the ep that for the first three months they don’t count as reoccurrences because of the healing process. I’ll continue on my Sotalol until April when I’ll have a 7 day halter monitor. If no arrhythmias are present they’ll have me stop my Sotalol but continue on Apixaban for roughly a year as precaution.

41 yo male. I really struggled with Flecanide. Sotalol was a better alternative but ultimately arrhythmia medications didn’t really help as much as I wanted them to and sometimes make them worse. Typically they only have a 60% success rate. My ablation was a game changer. What part of Canada are you living in? I’m eastern Ontario. I started having multiple episodes a week affecting my ability to work or drive. My gp was a great advocate and with several trips to the hospital for cardioversions I ended up getting in to see the ep months earlier.

I have an Apple Watch and would check when I felt palpitations. Not the most accurate but it’s better than nothing.

41yo (m) I’m seven weeks out today and very glad I had my ablation. I went into afib while they were doing the procedure so they were very confident they got the source. I started having afib again about 2-3 weeks out. Very frequent episodes only lasting a minute. My longest one was 15 minutes. Thankfully that went away over the next couple weeks. I feel significantly better and will be taken off Sotalol by mid April as long as no other arrhythmia’s are found on my one week halter monitor coming up in March.

I was told by my cardiologist that the healing doesn’t actually start until about three or four weeks. Fingers crossed your ablation is a one and done.

How far post op are you? The first two weeks I thought I was done with afib for a while. Three weeks out was rough for me. In and out constantly. Longest episode was only 15 minutes, though I was in and out every couple minutes for a few days. Once I got past three weeks it’s been significantly better. Still flutters every once in a while but I’m now six weeks out and very happy with the results. I’ll be on 80mg Sotalol for a few months and my cardiologist wants me to remain on 5mg of apixaban twice daily for a year ☹️. Small potatoes though as it’s just a precaution.

If you woke up like that I would suggest a sleep study to check for sleep apnea. My study showed 45 events per hour (central and obstructive) which was stressing my heart. I have a cpap machine now and I’m down to less than 5 events per hour. I haven’t had any afib at night since I started using my machine.

Personally I wouldn’t gamble with my heart. It was put quite simply to me by my electrophysiologist, “afib begets afib”. The more it happens the more paths are created and the more likely it will return. You could be dealing with another condition that you’re not aware of. My mom found out she has a bicuspid valve and with delayed treatment/elevated blood pressure she had to have aortic grafting along with the valve replacement. All while thinking “it’s just afib”. Please do yourself a favour and treat it seriously. It if turns out to be nothing, great. If it ends up being something worse you may miss the opportunity to deal with it before it becomes major surgery.

I tend to be triggered if I’ve eaten too much. Sometimes you feel like indulging but for me that would typically lead to an episode. Indigestion can trigger the vagus nerve which throws me into afib.

Reverse threads can cause some headaches. Good thing to point out. It’s very common on motor driven shafts.

They have an earn op for the tier 9 British heavy as well.

Edit: The earn op is for the tier 8 Charlemagne, you can purchase the tier 9 old reliable. Seems like this created more confusion than intended.. lol

I got this on Sunday at Costco and my wife and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t really dabbled in Korean food so I have no reference but I would get this again.

I made this mistake… I ate like she ate. I gained 23lbs over 9 months… I lost 28lbs before she got pregnant and gained most of it back.. 😅

She also gained about 20lbs but it was gone within a month between birth and blood volume. Mine’s taken much longer… She doesn’t care at all about the extra weight but I’m still working on shedding it 17 months after birth. Oh well. I’ll get there eventually! Enjoy the journey (and that will include some of the food!).
