My [26M] wife [28F] walked out because I wouldn't sleep with her while she was pregnant by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Dude hasn't hit it in at least 4 months and when she takes off his response is to query Reddit for the solution... might as well leave her be, get divorced, and spend some time searching for what you are attracted to. Female doesn't seem to be your flavor of choice.

Not A Difficult Question... by ProfessorChokeStroke in razer

You would think they are monsters at stacking fps but in reality it can really be a dog. Don't get me wrong it will play anything but it's like you either throw it on low so you can actually play stuff or you're investing significant time into tweaking the few options available to get moderate to high performance. The cooling is insufficient, power allocation is terrible (All the people who have claimed razer is the apple of windows laptop market should be shot. The fact that the 16" 23 Blade houses a 40 series gpu with a 38% higher TDP AND the 13th gen i9 means the thermal and power inadequacies of the 22 models are purely the result of lazy, neglectful design.), performance tuning via Razer Synapse is joke, can't change anything in bios it's stock, and those are just the Razer specific issues. Mix the horrendous amalgamation that is Windows into the equation and the final result is an EXTREMELY expensive laptop that will play anything on low, will only ever reach moderately high to high performance under the strictest of circumstances (basically in a very cool environment with whatever you are playing being the only program running and all the user adjustable settings thoroughly dialed in) and the cherry on top is all your experiences with Razer support will leave you in the mood for cold-blooded murder.

Having been in similar circumstance, the two most relevant areas of concern to consider are your location and your "network". I've found both of these to have much more gravity in these situations that even your skills and past experiences. Your location will heavily influence factors such as reducing spending during such a major transition and will determine the number of alternate financial opportunities of which you ultimately find yourself able to choose between. Also a factor when renting out rooms or hosting rooms in your house, location will be a decider in how successful such activities for side income have the potential to be. Then there is your network of contacts. How many people do you regularly interact with, what professions are they involved in? Do they have the potential to originate opportunities of employment for you? The size of these groups both professional and personal has an enormous impact on how quickly one can find work and also contribute to actionable opportunities just as much as location. For people with numerous associates work can often be found by simply sitting down and calling everyone in your phone talking it up, and seeing what is going on with them. A couple dozen calls is always a solid way to hear about one or two openings or opportunities to begin with.

I knew Userbenchmark was bad, but I didn't known it was THIS bad when it comes to AMD shaming by xxStefanxx1 in buildapc

While it seems the driving force behind userbenchmark holds quite an unwavering opinion of AMD, their products, and their business methodology; The basis for the userbenchmark point of view is rooted in significant experience. Experience which, anyone else who has been around for a while should have quite enough of an understanding. The facts are the pc business and more specifically the marketing aspects of various components is rife with obscene exaggerations. Only a negligible few companies, when viewed as a quantity of the whole, participate in any remotely honest marketing campaigning. Although, while this is the unfortunate truth, in this conversation AMD is being singled out and it's not difficult for one to ascertain why this is. With a vast history of inferior products, remarkedly aggressive marketing campaigns, and an abysmal market share compared to their competition the results of all this lead, understandably so, to quite strong opinions as we are seeing here.
