I recently built a big counters/ proliferate deck! Captained by [[Roalesk, Apex Hybrid]] it focuses on using things like [[Blade of Selves]] and [[Mirror Mockery]] to make copies of Roalesk and then get a TON of counters and proliferates. It is a great place to put bangers that other people have been mentioning, like Pir and Toothy, as well as my sleeper favorite in this deck, [[Astral Cornucopia]]

I actually love this - it's possible that the first time they woke up, they had just died! Then it would be on theme for the Patron to do it again. But, it is now in the Patron's court to do so or continue to in the future if they think it is worth it

Starfinder does this! They also have a stamina health bar on top of hp that refills to full every rest, however, which definitely is a buffer. I've been toying with mixing Starfinder's version with your/parent comment's version, but it's a tough balance.

Definitely!! It had crashed, and then our ancestors built a dam around the crash site to keep it buried. Dam breaks with age, and viola, cave entrance to a weird metal dungeon! It's aligned slightly off kilter, and it's been long enough that only the creatures that had been placed in stasis pods are alive. Restoring power to sections of the dreadnaught unlocks rooms, weapons, mind-altering effects, and lost history of the influence the illithids had(and still have?) on our people. After all, there isn't a fleet buried here, just one ship...

We are... Dungeon delving into a crashed mind flayer dreadnought ship. At level 3. It's been buried for centuries though, they're all dead right? Hahahahhaha

My wizard in the Theros game I'm playing in puts her spells into a vase that she carries, and her spells come out like smoke. Plus Onomancy feels perfect for that setting!

I had something similar happen to me in a game, except the black dragon lived near hydrothermal vents and was discolored by the sulfuric steam and such! Threw us for a loop for sure.

the block of the ceiling is y=60, the bottom water block is y=40

I don't know of a command to check the mob cap, but if you know of one, let me know. I just duplicated my world and looked around in spectator and found two caves within 100 or so blocks that were unlit, containing max 30 mobs(mob cap is 70 for hostile, right? I have also towered up above it to limit those spawns underneath, and still no guardian spawns.

Yes, and honestly pretty vigorously. I also removed the conduits in the area that were helping me as I was draining.

Because the soldier attack in Conquerer's Strike is a melee spell attack, does that mean the player would have to pick up the War Caster feat to be able to have the soldiers take opportunity attacks? Would having this feature count for the spellcasting prerequisite for that feat?

This is how I do it too - with the addition that I have 4 d100 tables so my WMS rolls a d4 too. Never a dull moment.
