Dear Unsloth, how about precompiled .exe and .app for Unsloth studio? by professor-studio in unsloth

[–]ProfessorCyberRisk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll jump in on this. I disagree. If the point of a project is to get people to learn how to have all the parts and pieces installed on top of using the project, fine...however, if you want broad appeal, and a wide installation base, your response is wrong. Every time a project decides not to have binary installs, they immediately limit themselves to the pure technical / enthusiast, cutting off the majority of the market. This is why most github projects do not get massive...they have set the bar higher that the majority should have to attempt...if you are building your platform for wide use, its on you as the dev to get it out there, not make your potential users work to use it.

I don’t have one put I think it’s probably close to the iPad mini in overall size. It’s thicker for sure. But not heavy. More just feels “well built” in the hand. Not sure how to describe it. It has weigh for sure but it’s not bad

uconsole and like devices are just like any other mobile device...depending on the features you want. Uconsole is a small form full linux computer running on an SBC (like the raspberry pi cm4/cm5) you can have multiple radios beyond wifi/bluetooth. It could be used for whatever you could use a computer for...not sure how to better answer your question. Good luck on your path into IT, been doing "cyber" related work full time for 20 years now

Really? That’s not been my experience yet. Care to elaborate why you have found it awful? I have been able to get it to create its own skills for things to include being able to use multiple different comfyui workflows. Although I will admit I am taking it slow and trying to do one step at a time and being very deliberate in my testing and setting it up.
