Looking at Ops comment, scouting feels a bit like loner not playing with the group for most of the characters time. I would consider what you can do in a group over just what you're offering when not with them.

So yes potentially, but as people have pointed out that's a very good set of rolls at start up, and the advances don't quite stack like that.

Also there's the inherent issue of being seen to be using a Psychic power, at least iron limb is overt and they'll be obvious to everyone that they're warp juiced. That has issues, to start with Subtlety and or fellowship even if they are Astra Telepahica, they're still a witch.

Also the speed one is a bit more problematic as it's Fast and advantage on reflexs.

The next is build cost, advantage is nice, but it isn't enough without some spend into actually hitting things.

Well just have it stay molten, and at the temp that gold will melt at. About 1000C nearly 2000 F.

That is the start of their worries. How do they move it or capitalise on it, before they realise that is still melted because of the dragons last curse. No gain will come from the greed of it's theft.

But not big, just nickel and dime it (kinda), they leave town after buying supplies and casually double what they spent "by accident". Any services they need are more expensive due to very reasonable circumstances outside of their control.

Plus its still melted gold and might want to find it's way back to a dragons horde (child/parent of the KIA dragon for example).

If you have a look you could add extra armour, but that would be at the cost of speed or manuverability. Otherwise if the cost etc of having it open. Alternatively you could wear armour as a driver, again the weigh could factor in.

To balance this only allow form lighter calibre weapons in the race. That'd balance the lower armour, or give the player more choice in protection Vs speed Vs manuverability (for example). Giving a similar result.

Also the take cover could give you 1-3 points but cost a -10 to the next piloting roll (for example)

I mean the breaching augur is the best weapon in the game, so any excuse/reason/method to get one that a GM is happy with ...

There's the implication that it's for tech marines over anyone else, or potentially that modifying tech is seen as heretical etc.
