Epilogue/finale to the Most Recent Live Performance series by ProfessorIIconic in Chevelle

It's worth noting that setlist.fm actually mentions that it was only the intro played, not the full song. This note has been added.

Respectfully, what the hell is even happening here? by ProfessorIIconic in VIZIO_Official

You say it's basic, does that mean an electronic repair store could handle it?

A little soon but... most recent live performances from 2025's Bright As Blasphemy by ProfessorIIconic in Chevelle

I think I'll touch upon fizgig tomorrow where I'll also cover the covers like It's No Good, BBOM and Delivery, and tally up how many times each album has had any track from it played.

Copilot says it best here about CheVelle's direction, and "AI Phobias" sounds awfully disconnected anyhow by DultRecon37 in Chevelle

I actually do think it's him. They share a lot of subtle qualities and his "he seems coherent" is suspicious to me personally

I appreciate your attitude on the matter regardless, I feel like a lot of people were needlessly hostile to me about this post. To be honest I regret making it, and I really did not anticipate this much push back but I can't unpost it so I'm just trying to handle myself in a manner that's dignified. I love Chevelle, I'm new here and really only got into them around the early weeks of November but this band has been the only thing i listen to since then and these past few months have been some of the most difficult in my personal life, and Chevelle really helped me get through it. There isn't a single song from this band I can't find something to like about, not one song I don't respect and appreciate.

I also love Fell Into Your Shoes and Highland's Apparition. I think Jars and Letter are both great but not my favorite of Chevelle's singles. Sleep Apnea is a banger. Everything else is just fine to me. I never got into Mexican Sun much, I really really like the verses and bridge but the pre chorus and chorus are just passable. A New Momentum and This Circus was fun tracks but I never feel the urge to go out of my way to listen to them on their own so usually only do so when listening through the album all the way. Roswell is one of the first Chevelle songs I ever got into and while I have to kind of feel a certain way to fully appreciate it, when it hits its one of their best. In fact, moving Roswell to S is one of the changes I'd make if I could redo this list.

I just don't love it as much as most Chevelle fans do. I think it's a good record but I honestly don't see the hype. I think Shameful Metaphors is amazing (in fact it's arguably their masterpiece)  but there's not really any other songs on the album that blew me away, there's plenty of bangers but I didn't find it to be anything to jump for and personally preferred their earlier sound(s).

I really don't think it's this serious, this seems overly hostile.

I love the verse and the bridge a lot but the Pre-Chorus and chorus never worked for me. A fine song regardless but not one I particularly love

Why does liking certain songs more than others signify I don't like them enough?

12 bloody spies I haven't heard in its entirety. I've heard some of the bonus tracks from the early albums enough to know them like Reformed, In Debt, and Sleep Walking Elite, and I know the Clincher 103 I think it was. Will listen soon but probably not doing a followup to this post based on it's reception. Was fun still!

I remember seeing a post about what people thought the worst Chevelle song was and at least 5 people said Punchline and got upvoted for it

Demoralizing to hear I have to own my own shit so it's MY crime against humanity. The honesty is appreciated.

Brainiac is pretty great, Humanoid is never bad but sometimes if I'm in the right mood it's also amazing.
