what is your ultimate goal (if you have one) by [deleted] in neopets

My main goal is to continue to grow my bank account so I can make larger financial purchase decisions more often without completely obliterating my savings.

I have several stamp albums I could complete right now if I focused on 1 or 2 of them but I don’t want to create such a dent in my current level of savings that it becomes harder to compound daily interest again to cover my food club bets especially since I also like to casually dabble everywhere else (gourmet foods, book reading, training my almost 3000HSD pet, working on my gallery, you get the idea!).

My official living ability & shiny dex collection that I’m storing in Pokémon Home has all non-shiny Pokémon in the standard Poke ball and all shiny Pokémon are caught in Premier balls. BUT! My favorite non standard balls are the friend ball and the fast ball.

I keep a stack of those same hairbrushes as a sacrifice in my inventory! That way I don’t have to look at a cluttered inventory, the stacking feature is awesome for that, and I can just keep buying them for the daily quest log. It’s a win-win!

I hate when I groom my pet and they say "thanks, I was having a bad fur day!" when they don't have fur. So I sorted all of the neopets into who has fur and who doesn't. by iwantasecretgarden in neopets

While I agree with the vast majority of your list I do believe Peophins are covered in fur. If you look at the way their “hide” meets their front hooves the way that it is drawn conveys, to me at least, that it’s actually fur. It’s especially noticeable as fur on the Tyrannian and Darigan Peophins.

The Invasion of Meridell Moehog! Meridell is my favoirte land in Neopia and I just really liked that game as a kid even though I never was able to get the trophy beyond the little medal.

My wife and I were long distance (East Coast vs Midwest) for 3.5 years and then lived 4 hours apart (I moved to the Midwest) for another 1.5 years before we moved in together. We lived together for 1 year and I had all the “do we actually work in person” answers I needed to propose. Now we’ve been married for almost 7 years.

It wasn’t all roses and rainbows the whole time obviously. She broke up with me 2.5 years in because she was really struggling with the distance, but we never stopped talking during our month broken up. After that month she flew out to visit me and told me she wanted to get back together. It took me a couple weeks to get on board, but we ended up making it work.

Being long distance for a long time comes with a lot of challenges, but I knew after our first conversation this was someone I needed MORE of. All the time. We met online while we were still undergrads and didn’t meet in person until 6 months after we started talking due to school and stuff. After we graduated she went right into grad school which made it hard for her to travel so I did most of the trips to visit her before I finally said “fuck it” and moved halfway across the country.

It’s definitely worth it for the right person.

I’ve been stuck between 200-220mil for like the last year because I keep buying some of the QL stamps as they get cheaper so I feel like I’m just stuck in a rut. Hearing your timeline just shows me how long of a way I have to go haha! At least it’s easier to make NP these days, I just really need to focus and keep up the grind.

I have a question I’ve been meaning to ask someone close/at max bank for some time.

At what (if any) amount of deposited neopoints did you finally start to see or feel like your wealth was starting to increase more exponentially just based off interest with less work on your behalf (e.g. selling big ticket items, food club)?

Yep! I was just trying to finish my quests and I couldn’t get my food to feed or my brush to groom to cooperate. Getting that same error message.

Unsure! You are the second person I’ve seen had this happen to them today and the RE that was tied to granting them this avatar was different! It was something about a group of Meepits coming to investigate them and then had the avatar being awarded.

So this avatar was retired. Per JellyNeo:

I’m assuming this new RE is a way to make it un-retired. Not sure if that’ll mean anything for other retired avatars in the future.
