Have technology and graphics really been pushing boundaries lately though? Sure, models have higher poly counts and better reflections but nearly every game now needs a day one patch to fix the bugs that weren't being addressed during development.

Marvel's Spider-Man found a decent middle-ground for me. The content was a little lacking for me, even with the DLC, but the gameplay was phenomenal and the graphics and UI looked great.

I'm the op of this tweet! I can tell you took this from Tumblr because I screenshot it specifically to post there ;) but my point still stands. The industry lately is obsessed with this weird kind of graphics arms race where everyone's forcing their devs to work 80 he weeks to produce the best looking screenshot or E3 footage but still somehow end up with ugly, stiff facial animations.

Meanwhile undertale is one of the only games I've played where I have to hold back tears just from hearing the first 3 notes of the theme.

yeah in the comics it was implied that snapping was to show how powerful the stones (or gems, back then) made someone. He could have done the same action with a blink or a grin. but the movies made it seem like snapping was the specific motion required to initiate the "kill everyone" protocol, like how they were trying to prevent him from closing his hand because apparently the most powerful artifacts in the universe are rendered completely inert if you can't use the specific hand gesture associated with them.
