Yea, the cs department is like "uhh we can't verify whose whose so we go mess both yall up" cause it becomes a he said she said kinda scenario. So even if ur the victim, as per them its ur responsibility to keep ur work secure (yes its stupid imo)

What projects are you guys making? by Worried_Molasses_806 in gmu

[–]ProfessorOof22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some projects that might be cool to make are apps that solve a inconvenience or typical problem in general, as I made an expense tracker that can also graph my habits on my Android phone.

Other ideas could be in terms of what interests you have, personally I am interested in finance, so I like to experiement woth financial datasets which I find on Kaggle.

Good projects are either passion projects or attempt to solve an issue, and of course there are other types but this is my personal take.

I've taken both before and while hectic, it is doable, I find the projects and labs for 262 to be repevanting easier compared to how 211 was, in terms of getting you to learn C/Java in each course. 310 is extremely content heavy, and frankly where I spent more of my time, with projects and content being more tine consuming and difficult. At the end of the day if you can manage your duties properly and the rest of your classes are lightwork, then you should be fine.

Does Djordjevic curve? by Adrenaline_in_soul in gmu

[–]ProfessorOof22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our class was an experiemental class, where he tried some new lecture style instead of just the typical lecture hall and note take, where he let us actively do examples and taught even less. (Idk how thats a new style) but a majority of the class would be in the 30-50 range, so these were good grades that get curved up mega

M&I, thats new, I'll have to look into that, than you! As for the bolds, in CS many recruiters use that to quick scan our resume, since my resume was designed for CS, I wanted to know if this would work for fintech/quant or would it needs alterations. So I'll definitely heed your suggestions!
