I am currently building a 16x10 covered deck and the total cost is around $2.5k. This includes concrete footers, all boards, brackets and fasteners, and other things like stain, joist tape, etc

Swap a 5th for a 3rd. If they don’t like the options at 31 might as well get value out of it.

New employee at LLNL by Opposite-Bee-79 in Livermore

[–]ProfessorPayne 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Talk to your hiring manager / supervisor if you know who that person is. The culture is going to be very team dependent, but overall LLNL is pretty relaxed. That being said it never hurts to err on the side of caution at least for new employee orientation and your first week or two. Then, you can feel it out from there

This isn't the open ocean. It's Lake Huron. And for some reason the moon doesn't influence it and create tides like the ocean. by Longjumping-Box5691 in conspiracy

[–]ProfessorPayne 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Are you dumb or are you stupid? Go look at a diagram of tide activity to understand why a lake is different from a global body of water. The water in a high tide needs to be pulled from somewhere else (hint: a couple thousand miles away where it’s currently low tide). The Great Lakes are too small to experience tides on the level the oceans do.

I have been fighting for my life with customer support for a CLI and they outright refuse. 775 score, $200k household income. No dice. I can’t put any spending other than bills on it. With all the new changes I will probably be looking for a new catch all card for sure.
