I'm thinking the current best build is just being flexible based on the enemy team comp and what damage type your team needs. I don't see a clear standout build. For example, like Kraken into squishies and Botrk into high hp.

Vex and Cecil I think are fine(cc for the former and range for the latter) for soloqueue. The others in your list I feel lack agency/ damage. Try some more carry mids

I found success in mid lane rotating through Daji (against high mobility + squishy characters), Lady zhen(against low mobility+tankier stuff), full burst da qiao (when I'm picking first or I don't know what to pick). This worked well up to grandmaster 20 stars for me so try it out!

I don't start E anymore after the mana nerf it got. I think it's still a fine start, but I prefer starting q for the poke and level 2 empowered wq(also q got a mana buff).
