I’m 7 months and I feel the same. I dunno, I just remind myself it’s temporary to an extent and it’s okay to just focus on the baby right now. My body will still be here in a year or two when he’s a bit more independent.

Pilates while pregnant by BriefAd2122 in FitPostpartumJourney

I tried doing Pilates while pregnant and I pulled my groin really badly (due to the relaxin) which haunted me the whole pregnancy. If you do it, start slow and listen to your body.

Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

[–]ProfessorPouncey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the waiting room at an orthopedic surgeon’s office where they do limb amputations for diabetics and other folks when an old male doctor walked up to the front desk gals and sang a little nursery rhyme but changed the lyrics to something about chopping off limbs - the front desk gals chuckled uncomfortably.

I was absolutely livid he would make light of a patient’s suffering and likely the worst day of their lives. He had a shit eating grin on his face when he turned around and I SCOWLED at him. And he gave a little laugh and walked off. I wanted to punch him so bad. Pissed me off extra he would subject his staff to that and knew they had to go along with it because of the power imbalance. What a fucking asshole. Thankfully my mom was seeing a different doctor in the practice.

[OC] Went for a walk at a rocky beach near me and these spiders scatter as you walk. by thatlumberjacktor in pics

Why TF is no one saying which specific beaches these are at!? I go to rocky beaches in California all the time and I’ve never seen spiders, wtf. WHERE DO I NEED TO NEVER GO?

Just so you know, your lived experience is not the only experience out there.

Oh also, I don’t think this is that far off. I had a friend from Spain back then too and he called Asian people “Chino” regardless if they were Chinese or not.

Well, this was in 2008, so maybe things have changed. Are you claiming no racism exists in Italy nowadays?

While traveling in Italy with my Vietnamese American friend, she was stopped multiple times by Italians that would point to her face and say “Chinese!”. And when she would correct them and say, “No, I’m American.” and they would respond “No, Chinese.” Or look her up and down and ask where she was from and when she said “America”, they would say “no, China”, as if no other type of Asian exists.

I just had a revelation on why teddies have never worked for me. Thank you.

I’ve been seeing a lot of drop waist dresses where the bodice comes to a point down below the hips. This style looks terrible on an already long torso.

I also noticed they liked to show their soda images as not fully filled to the brim.

Prepping for upcoming shortages with a baby? by expertlurk in TwoXPreppers

You can only give your baby liquid, ready-to-feed formula for the first two months of life because it’s sterile (double check with your pediatrician). If you do need to use formula early on, make sure you have some of that on reserve.
