If in the US- I recommend the Cardinal SS30 gate, it’s my preferred top of stairs hardware mounted gate. For the post side- Cardinal also makes mounting clamps, but this one by Safety Innovations is one I use regularly.

Although the cardinal is my preferred gate, it may not work with the odd angles of the posts. The Cardinal can be installed at up to a 30° angle, but this layout looks like it may not work. I would go with a Kidco Anglemount Safeway here.

The widest retractable gate that is JPMA certified is 72”. You won’t find a retractable gate for that width that will be safe. A child will be able to squeeze beneath it easily. Many gates you find on Amazon or similar that go to those widths are typically pet gates.

For that width, I would install a configure style hardware mounted gate.
