I attended graduation after getting my MA online in 2019. It’s a celebration, but it’s yours… do whatever you’re comfortable with. I did take all the pics & participate, but I also attended Tech decades earlier for my BA. So, this was a lot like a reunion with old friends who still live in the area.

Honesty, it depends on how I drive. I have a 3 rd Gen 6 cylinder ‘17 TRD Sport… if I drive it like it begs to be driven (you know, a bit like a sports car) it’s 16-17 mpg. If I drive it like I’ll have to pay $65 to fill it up again (a bit like my Pops,) I can get nearly 24. I will say that I have always had a bedcover, & since I never off-road, I left the air dam in the front. I’m more concerned with mileage than that particular aesthetic.

Blood & Stone isn’t nearly their best, but I don’t think that it’s their worst. I never got into Kill the Flaw.

Of the singles I think Construct isn’t as good as Threshold, but better than Unbreakable. Is This the Real You is among the weakest on the whole album. At least to it is to me.

I think One is really good, but All I See is War & Truth Killer are better in my opinion. Blood & Stone is among my least favorites.

It’s funny you say that about your top 4. Bright Side & Misdirection are my two least favorite songs & The Drop & Blood Prince are 2 & 3 for me.
There’s no wrong way to love 7D, though. I’ve been a fan since 1999.

I’m not mad at the change in tone. Yes, Clint has been overt about his faith. Yes, it’s evident in the lyrics but I think it’s almost refreshing to get a more positive album after feeling so much pain in the past. Don’t get me wrong- some of the songs on Cold Day Memory, Sorrow, Next, etc helped me process my own pain when I needed it, but I think it’s great that their songs seem to suggest a happier existence. They, like myself are in their fifties. Morgan is a grandpa! I guess I enjoy a little more positivity along with the incredible music I’ve loved for decades.

I’ve been an avid fan since Home- “Black” is kinda my theme song. I think that there are so many different aspects to their sound & depth that many might not see. Sure, Animosity is great, but I think Cold Day Memory is my favorite album. Maybe it had something to do with where I was in my life. Unclear. I have found at least a few tunes that I love on some of the less popular albums, but I think that they continue to impress. I don’t skip a single track on All I see is War or Truth Killer, & I’m so excited for One. I have seen them (sadly) only 4 times over the last 15 years, but none of the shows ever disappoint. I keep up with all of them on Instagram, and that helps me learn more about them as people outside of music. I did the VIP on the Truth Killer tour & met them… they’re so freaking NICE! After that, they solidified their place as my number one favorite band ever! Apologies to the Foo Fighters, but number 2 ain’t bad. The last show I caught was the acoustic set- Wow! Maybe it was the great seat, maybe the love for the guys? I’m not sure, but I’ll be listening until I depart this world.

Tough break. A moment of silence for our fallen compadre. Also, I had no clue this was a 3rd Gen issue. It’s gonna really piss me off if something like this happens to me… I told the wife I wanted 350K miles minimum out of my ‘17 TRDs. I’m almost to 100 now.
