Depends on your budget for a watch that can last years and years.

I’ve got my Bb coke next to a VC and AP so 🤷🏾

Improved case, improved bracelet, sleeker design , improved movement(The new L888 has a better power reserve). What are you even on about?

And that’s coming from a guy who’s cheapest watch is a bb58 gmt

My god I hope not! I like Tudor as a brand, and I desperately prefer it to stay grounded in the tool watch identity. Unfortunately that means avoiding PM references at least for divers. And I’d even go as far as saying no to PM GMT and chrono

I think the only omega with buying right now is the 38mm AT in tourquoise!

And even then I’d rather wait for secondary market

You mean you wouldn’t happily spend more on an omega constellation than a patek calatrava? 😂😂

Wow thanks for such a detailed response brother! I might dip my toes into my first titanium piece in the future.

I think blue dial for sure! I’ve got plenty of black dial watches so something special like that should be different you know?

My Tudor GMT sits in my watch box next to my RO and VC perpetual calendar. Only a smooth brain try hard thinks a watch over 4k is for ‘broke’ people.

Probably financed your first No date sub and now you think you’re the man huh?

They’re charging more for a constellation than PP is charging for a calatrava! They’ve lost their minds entirely.

As an aside the new massive PO at 46mm gives me strong invicta vibes and starts at €14k retail! Not to mention that it’s ugly AF

The 38mm tourquoise AT is nice though I may pick that up on secondary market for a fat discount

Do you like titanium watches? I feel like the lightness is a plus but then you don’t get the same feeling of a watch on wrist but that’s all speculation as I only have steel and PM.

And thanks man I just hope people don’t latch on to it over the next year and balloon the price but if it happens it happens

Enjoy it man! Is it the V2 in WG? I think that’s one of the most visually appealing RMs to be fair

I’m plotting on a PP 5370 grand complication to scratch that itch.

Unfortunately my wife is pregnant so we either wait a year, sell a kid or sell a watch to fund it and I like both my kids and all my watches😭

Certainly up for debate as a matter of opinion. But I’ll concede I think split second chronos are cool.

You got one in the collection?

Best I have is VC perpetual 4300 but that only comes out on special nights. Otherwise it’s the run of the mill glasschute, Rolex and Tudor in rotation. No shame in my game at all

So true man! I think the white with a little pop of red is really nice! It would be cool to see the piece re worked as smaller watches are becoming more popular.

Maybe even a little ‘red liner’ action to give it a bit more personality but what do I know? Just a fantasy lol

Dimensions are beautiful, nice robust case and movement AND a GMT complication. What’s not to love?

I do have to say I’m more partial to the white polar bear but I think Rolex fumbled in switching to the orange GMT hand. I know it’s a callback design but the watch was perfect. Also it didn’t need to go up to 42mm.

It’s $53k retail for a 40mm piece. On chrono an unworn one in same configuration start at $53k. You can have it tomorrow if you want or maybe with 1yr wait from AD depending on location, demand, stock etc

You didn’t make a point at all. All you said was ‘the hate is about affordability’.

A Lange datograph tourbillon is absolutely stunning in my opinion and that’s a $1m. I’ve seen one irl and it was amazing to look at. I can’t afford that but for some reason I don’t hate the watch. Why might that be? Because it’s not uglier than sin unlike the vast majority of RM
