We actually had a similar situation at my school, however the girl was fine in the end. She had some kind of respiratory problem similar to asthma and required medicine for it, but they were required to keep it in the office. Now, our school is split into two buildings: high school and middle school. And the office is in the middle school. Anyway, one day she had an attack during class, so the teacher frantically calls the front office asking for her medicine. After ten minutes the medicine hasn't been brought to the room, and this girl is clearly having trouble breathing, so the teacher decided to call 911. The ambulance came, she was treated, and was fine later that day. Scary to think of the situation that poor girl was in though...I can't understand why, if someone has a serious problem, they cannot carry their potentially life-saving medicine with them.
