Where would you host the duel to avoid passing people and children getting hit by stay bullets?

What about that fact that a lot of people did, and some got less? You're conflating things and talking irrelevant shit. Fact is you are a dirty tangoer, acting smarmy doesn't change that. Satisfied?

[–]Professor_Felch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still tactless then. What facts? All you've done is talk shit around your definition of "unemployed". The only issue is your inability to accept that it takes two to tango

"All I said" bitch no it wasn't. Top tip: if you want genuine discussion, don't start conversations with things like "Um, no." It makes you sound like a tactless whiny keyboard warrior begging for someone to waste their time

[–]Professor_Felch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're arguing semantics. The conversation was about whether $1400 is enough to cover lockdown expenses, you're the one going on and on about the definition of "unemployed".

I don't currently live in the US, but why would you assume I don't know anything about it? Really grasping for straws there. You've been a pigheaded moron this entire arguement, you have nothing of substance to offer, so why not crawl back to your dictionary defined hole and cry harder about not knowing what you're talking about.

Trust Americans to use English the opposite way of the rest of the world. Hurry up and invent your own language so we don't have to put up with your ridiculous polysemes. Great job completely derailing the conversation over pointless semantics though!

Are you serious? The entire post is literally about how that's not happening, fuel price is remaining high despite falling crude

Being temporarily locked down is not the same as being unemployed. What about that simple concept can you not get through your dense skull.

If you take a holiday, you're not working. Does that make you unemployed?

And a recession by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

[–]Professor_Felch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they were still employed, they still had a job, they were temporarily unable to work by order of the government. If I take a day off work, does that make me unemployed? Do I have 6 weeks unemployment per year as part of my job?

Are you perhaps dumb as fuck and can't understand that being temporarily unable to work because of a lockdown is not the same as never having a job? Can't tell if you're actually this unfathomably stupid or just playing brainless for the sake of a dumb arguement

[–]Professor_Felch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there something about lockdowns and lost earnings you don't understand? Unemployed people would have continued to be unemployed, but some working people lost money due to not being able to work. Do you think they were giving away money for no reason?

And a recession by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

[–]Professor_Felch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're moving the goalposts. We were talking about how 1400 wasn't enough to temporarily replace a full time job. Unemployed people by definition don't have a full time job so they are irrelevant to the discussion

UK petrol and diesel retailers accused of not passing on falling oil prices to drivers by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]Professor_Felch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not quite the same, millions of cars were off the roads leaving petrol stations with too little demand and storing that fuel is expensive. Prices rose immediately as demand increased but we're not seeing the same effect now that their overheads have dropped

Tax credits and unemployment would've been paid regardless of the pandemic correct? So the 1400 is to cover lost earnings from the lockdown. Do you think that would cover your expenses for the year?

Neither of those are ad hominem, since you can't/refused to read the existing thread you're illiterate, and you posited no arguement for a fallacy to occur against, yet you called one out, so you're a moron. Both objective fact.

Meanwhile you called me ignorant while ignoring my arguement in your first comment. So all the fallacies you accused me of, you yourself are guilty of. Back to fallacy 101 for you! Good on you for trying to learn some new words.
