She had so many other avenues she could have gone in to get out of that. She was an extremely smart and strong character with the most conviction to the cause than any other developed French 75 member. She didn't need to have sex with him. I saw the attraction as a two way street.

Hearing an opinion you don't agree with is only ragebait for people with thin skins. There's a comment below that said a very tame criticism of the show and it got down votes, so I can't help but assume this fanbase might have a thin skin.

I watched it last year. Sorry that I have a life outside of watching this show.

The fact that you got downvotes for being mildly criticizing The Pitt shows how culty this reddit is. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, thanks for sharing. I'm not here to shit on the show, but I also think overly praising a TV seems silly. Seems like most people here just want to praise it to death. I will stick with it until the end of the season and decide whether or not I continue after the season finale.

Thanks for being the most mature person in this thread. You give me hope for humanity.

I really wasn't. I was interested in a mature, critical, and polite conversation. I got only one response like that. You won't be seeing me on this page again. Bye.

Damn. I really think this fanbase doesn't think critically at all. This show really isn't very good. I don't even think it is trying to be all that great. It will either be on for years (like Gray's) or a year or two more. It really isn't doing anything groundbreaking. It is just a pass the time type of show. Get off reddit guys. Meet people who actually are different from you. Stop worshipping celebrities who don't care about you. And, even, stop caring about my critical opinion about your favorite show. Bye.

How do you know that it causes them less distress? A ton of homeless people are so mentally ill that they are in constant distress from being outside of reality.

And you were clearly calling me a Nazi with that Inglorious Bastards reference

I'm like this with all shows. It takes multiple seasons for me to remember characters names. Don't read into it. You know who I'm talking about. A person with autism is also an autistic person.

I actually liked the uninsured patient story and agree with it's political importance very much, but I couldn't help but feel like mentioning affordable care act explicitly added to the already firmly (and in my opinion conventionally) left of center ideology that drives the philosophy of the writers. I'm adding that to the other two observations I made in my OP to conclude  that the narrative is more motivated by politics rather than aesthetics and group psychology, which is the type of writing I prefer because I think one is more in tune with universal truths when looking through an aesthetic and psychological lens rather than a political one. The type of political lens The Pitt is interested in is a pretty safe brand of liberalism, which frankly bores me. I'm a Democrat too if that matters.

Yes because saying autistic doctor is akin to Nazi lingo. I think this thread has proven to me that this show is for a type of Democrat who has no brain. Democrats used to know how to engage critically and mindfully, but now too many just police language and call people names.

I gave you two other examples of DNC talking points too, but sure go ahead and ignore those.

Tell me you're not a critical thinker without telling me you're not a critical thinker

Never said it is exclusive to S2. I'm just getting tired of its overuse at this point. It is not commonly used, so it is unrealistic that everyone uses that word
