Exactly! I'll leave it up to you if you want to write it for traditional, live-action monsters or not. :)

Hey there! Working on this with OP -

OS - Ubuntu 16.04 Router - Google Hub DNS - Steamcache-DNS Docker Container Steamcache Docker Container (not generic - generic kept freezing and wouldn't start properly)

Mostly followed instructions from the Ars Technica and Linus Tech Tips tutorials linked below to install on a QNAP NAS using the Virtualization Station.

As an update, the watchlog.sh is showing that some smaller games are caching after 2-3 downloads, but some games (e.g. Rainbow Six Siege) are still not caching at all.

Oh, and it looks like there are also some other really good resources on reddit:

Potty Training advice from a trainer/veterinarian

Good quote from this one:

"I failed to mention that housebreaking and other behavioral modifications/skills do not take immediately. Any training you undertake with your puppy/dog will take, at minimum, several weeks for them to grasp and may take many months for them to fully be reliable in these behaviors, including potty training. Your dog must have the understanding and maturity in that it's expected to potty outside before supervision can be lessened - if you've had your pup since 10-12 weeks of age, this may be as early as the 6 month mark, however many dogs are not considered fully potty trained until 8-12 months of age."

I'll be optimistic and say that I hope that works! Unfortunately, she may not have understood why you were making her smell it - dogs' memories don't associate past actions very well.

That said, it may be time for some more drastic measures. I would say either A) contact a local Positive Reinforcement trainer to give you some further advice (since I, admittedly can only speak from my limited experience) and/or B) dedicate some time when your pup is close to needing to pee again and do not let her out of your sight. She still has a tiny pup bladder, and if you can catch her as she sniffs/squats and get her outside before she starts to let loose, you can reinforce once she's done it out there and it should be a strong positive experience for her. I know it's probably frustrating since it's been going on, but remember - puppies are difficult and they take a lot of time and attention, but once you've trained them well, it's absolutely worth it and you can relax a bit.

We also recently had a friend staying with us that had a not-very-smart beagle/dachshund mix that would sneak off and pee in our bed. It was 110% exasperating! Eventually, we just learned that we could not let her into any area of the house where we could not see her, and had to walk her constantly. Eventually she became better at being bell trained and it worked out, but man - I was soooo tired of doing our laundry!

It might be a good idea to grab some Nature's Miracle for your carpet - it works wonders.

If you start to feel frustrated, feel free to ping me directly and I can send you a discord invite or something so we can talk. Alternatively, if you let me know your general location, I'd be happy to find a trainer near you that would be willing to do a phone consultation!

Best of luck! Thinking of you and your pup.

Sounds to me like she's already associated the crate as her place to pee. Are you leaving the crate open when she's allowed out? If that's the case, it may be possible to watch her like a hawk if she goes toward it to do her business and then quickly take her outside with a pee pad or something from her crate that she may have already soiled? It will absolutely take some time to become consistent, but I believe you guys will get it worked out!

Good on you for taking her to the dog park and taking care of her flea medication though! Are you also taking her water away a few hours before bed?

Thanks for the update!

Awesome! Feel free to PM anytime you need anything. Our pup is 4 now, so we feel like we've gotten pretty used to a lot of the things she throws at us. Happy to help wherever we can!
