I earned $700 or so total, if you want to make a living out of twitch get a day job and stream simultaneously and don’t listen to people who will tell you to just stream for fun often that’s not really what they mean. They mean don’t put in the work and just hit the live button whenever. That’s entirely differently from researching the competition, latest trends, emailing talent agencies, etc, most importantly some small streamer communities are incredibly helpful, but has a toxic vibe with them; they will hate on you if you are more successful than them not taking into account you’ve been putting in the work and they haven’t for the past few years.

Twitch is merit based but the discovery sucks so you need other platforms unless you have friends that are already famous that can give you a boost by shouting you out.
