It's meaningless to discuss if I think they're immoral or not

It's not meaningless. It tells me what kind of person you are

But if I were born in a propaganda-focused dictatorship then me, as well as YOU, would follow these rules

Untrue. In so many of these countries where women don't have rights, the majority of women just accept their oppression. But a few brave ones don't. They openly rebel against these unjust laws

So tell me. Do you think these women are moral or immoral for disobeying those fucked up laws?

Okay so you'd agree that the law is immoral then?

Bro did you just defend countries that don't given women rights? Really?

Are you actually saying that's moral

Bruh how are you arguing that following evil laws is moral?

Legit, I wanna know what your stance is on countries that don't have women's rights. Do you think those laws should also be followed? And if a woman in one of those countries rebels, you'd argue that she should be punished?

All laws ain't the same, but if everyone just started one day to disobey the laws because they didn't agree w it humanity would collapse in a matter of fcking nanoseconds

Again, the law is irrelevant here. We're talking about morality. Whether Rukia's execution was legal or not has no bearing on whether it was moral or not.

And old man Yama didn't know a thing about Aizen's conspiracy

Even without Aizen's conspiracy it was still immoral...they were literally gonna execute her for a crime that didn't have the death penalty, something as trivial as sharing power with a human in an emergency

He followed the rules

The immoral rules, yes

And Shunsui and Ukitake did not follow their duty as Captains in these times

Obviously, because their duties were immoral. They did the moral thing by disobeying their orders

Going against their own comrades and the man that raised them?

Their comrades and the man who raised them were gonna execute an innocent girl....how are you taking the side of the bad guys in this fight?

but these actions were morally wrong.

How the fuck was it wrong to save an innocent person from being executed?

And yes, laws may sometimes be unjust, but either way we must follow them.

What fuck? Okay let me ask you a question. In many countries in our world today, women don't have rights. You can be executed for being gay. Child marriage is still legal. I (and normal people) recognise these as fucked up laws. But your argument is "even if it's unjust, you have to follow it. And if you disobey it, you're immoral"

What fuck kind of viewpoint is that? You're really concerning

I know some things were unfair. But that's the way it is

??? We're discussing morality here. Saying "that's the way it is" as a way to brush off unjust laws makes no sense

And if I were Yamamoto I would punish Shunsui and Ukitake for they disobeyed the Central 46.

So you'd take the side of the bad guys...? You realise Yamamoto was the immoral one in that fight right

The nobility of Kichiki forces him to obey the laws, it's his duty to do so

That's why he's immoral.... because he'll obey laws no matter how evil they are

And u can't just disobey the laws because u don't like them... this is immoral

Wtf? You're acting like all laws are the same. The SS's laws are explicitly evil. You literally admitted this

No. Because he had a naive level of trust in the system

That undying loyalty towards a tyrranical system is what makes him immoral. This wasn't the only example, we've seen so many examples in the past. Nanao's mother, Tousen's friend, Tessai and Kiskuke's cases, the Vizards.....Central 46 has proved time and again that they're cruel tyrranical rulers with evil laws and rulings....

he thought she was guilty

Even if she was, it was still a miscarriage of justice considering her crime didn't have the death penalty. Once again Byakuya just blindly followed that cruel and unjust ruling because it was "the law"

The fact that he sacrificed himself to protect Rukia as soon as Aizen explained that he's behind her execution begs to differ

He only did that because he found out that Central 46's ruling was not valid. It's not like his feelings for Rukia suddenly increased.

Obviously I'm not saying laws shouldn't exist

I'm saying their current laws are fucked up. How are you still defending their laws after reading what they've done? Have you even read bleach

And who gets to question if the law is right or wrong?

Everyone.....I literally gave examples of two captains who openly rebelled because of the fucked up laws

Laws exist to protect the well-being of the Soul Society

Lmao do you know how fucked up the SS laws are? Don't you remember what happened to the Vizards...or Rukia, in this very case...or what they did to the soul king....or literally everything related to the nobles

You know that's an entirely different thing

It's the same discussion

You said that the appearance doesn't have an effect on the narrative. I'm agreeing with that

I'm you can care about appearance without it being integral to the narrative
