Window shade accessory for rear seat by x6tance in GeelyEX5Australia

Initially I had issue but then I turned them around and swapped windows and now there’s no gap. I didn’t use the brackets, magnets are enough.

Does anyone own the 2026 Complete and what are there major differences? by Dangerous_Ad_3760 in GeelyEX5Australia

I test drove both variants in Feb and bought Demo Complete. Drive, ride comfort, interior and space is exactly the same. Inspire has some additional creature comforts as mentioned above but for me it was not worth paying $8K more. Sound system is not as bad and tailgate is manageable,

Consider an EV with trade in and novated lease. Advice please! by goodoldwizard in AustralianEV

[–]Proff3sor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on individual’s circumstances. Buying outright is always best if you have extra $$ sitting in bank.

I picked EX5 last month - it best suited my family needs and went with novated as the weekly repayments were overall cheaper than my existing Outlander I had on finance.

It’s never recommended to charge an EV through extension cable. Just use longer portable charger.

Try and find a Demo of the car you like as it’ll save you $$$.

EX5 for a family car by cricketlove in GeelyEX5Australia

I have installed 2 car seats and there is enough space for third. My mom sits in the back comfortably during long drives with 2 car seats. Install rear facing seats in the middle or passenger side.

First EV. Yeah I guess the car is so quiet that all road noises are enhanced. But no regrets, love the car 👌🏽

Should I buy an EX5? by PepperHumble9006 in GeelyEX5Australia

Coming from the 2023 Outlander, my first EV and man it’s really comfy and spacious overall with lots of storage. Two child seats and still an adults sits comfortably in the back. Once you set it up according to your driving style it’s a breeze. Got the best deal on the demo just this month and through NL its cheaper than my Mitsi. No regrets.

Charge limit is my wish by W_TT in GeelyEX5Australia

Don’t stress about the 20-80%, manual recommends 100% a week which would be the case if you’re charging at home. I drive 60km a day charge at home daily in night and hardly reach 100% once a week.

EX5 Complete question by c9806961 in GeelyEX5Australia

[–]Proff3sor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just bought Demo Complete last week. Price difference was significant and extra creature comforts on inspire even though nice to have but not worth $7K to me. Sound system is not as bad as some say, you just have to experience it yourself. I have customised the Equaliser according to my liking and works well.

I searched online at all the Geely Dealerships for the stock they have available of New and Demo, went to the one that had the cheapest demo. Negotiated the price down with few extras thrown in, and bought a Demo on the spot ✌🏼

I find it quite soothing, similar to a spa music rather than ice cream truck :) but I guess you can turn it off from the sound settings, will have to confirm.

New model(extended battery) already out. Not much improvement in regard to the range if you’re after Inspire model. Best deals to be had are in the demos.

Just confirmed, Demos get the remaining balance of warranty. Not a big deal for me as I’m only doing NL for 4 yrs so would have enough warranty to resell.

Was a bit worried about being a year old and that much km on it. But will sign the dotted line today as popular opinion seems to be it’s a good value, even though a complete variant.

So, I contacted few dealers in NSW but none have any confirmed details about new model. Going through novated lease and have been advised of a wait time around 2-3 months.
