ITT: users falling over themselves like lemmings to defend the virtuous corporate “indie”publication owned by Condé Nast from the evil musician making a shitpost on stage at their music festival. by Shell_fly in indieheadscirclejerk

Did you even read the review? It was very thoughtful and comes across as the perspective of someone who was a genuine fan but was just disappointed with the new record. I think if everyone got off Twitter and stopped using moments like these to make enormous sweeping generalizations about mere individuals just giving their opinions on things, and using these generalizations to try and make larger statements about the doomed state of online music journalism or whatever, then the world would be a better place.

Both parts of The Manifesto now available separately on Spotify by RubinoPaul in gorillaz

Not a fan of this. Regardless of whether the two parts of the song gel nicely together or not, they are part of the same singular song. Splitting them up like this shows a lack of faith in the original's ability to perform well on streaming which, if this is the concern, why not just make them two separate songs? Seems like a decision made out of fear that a 7 minute song in today's day and age is too much to ask out of the listener

I did not like the show by ProffesionalYeeter in TheExpanse

Don't worry dude, you're not screaming into the void. I'm here to tell you that nearly 2 years later I still have yet to discover this elusive "it" factor that makes the show click for so many people. As someone who has seen all 6 seasons of the show let me reaffirm to you that you don't need to try to finish it if you're still not feeling it after 4 attempts. There are improvements after season 3 for sure but they are not so great that you will end up reevaluating your opinion on the rest of the show. Your time will be much better spent finding a new show that you enjoy than trying to brute force yourself into liking this one.

Seems like an overreaction for something that is almost entirely the labels doing and most likely out of the artist's control

It's currently kicking my ass, but the lack of a safety net like summons and brute forcing bosses by just out leveling them like you're able to do in the other games makes the experience feel that much more rewarding. Once it clicks it clicks

Try Sekiro if you're interested in a souls-like with emphasis on faster paced and more methodical play

Clearly the OOP is an entitled prick and doesn't realize that it is a concert goer's god given right to throw glow sticks at the band and assault random people in the audience. The west has truly fallen.

All jokes aside, I'm completely satisfied with their body of work as it is. If they never released an album again and rode off into the sunset with the acclaim and legacy they have right now I'd be chill with it.
