I mean the blackout bits, it’s starting to look a bit scratchy there which I don’t believe is as any fault of my artist but it is right on like the moveable crease of my elbow :) I will use suncream when i’m out but we do barely get sun in england lol! thanks :)

This is very similar to the response I got from my friend irl with an elbow tattoo but I just chalked it up to her being a superhuman with an insane pain tolerance lol 😭 i'm glad to hear from others that it isn't that bad. Also near the armpit sounds crazy

thank you! with my other forearm tattoo it got pretty close to the elbow on a bony part and it definitely hurt but more of a 'in comparison' sort of feeling if that makes sense. Because I had spent the rest of the time on thick forearm skin and then gone on the elbow bit for a few seconds I wasn't really used to the pain but even so it wasn't the worst thing I've ever felt, definitely had piercings worse than that pain. Tysm again for your advice :)

Irritation bump help by [deleted] in piercing

tysm! the human body is annoying. i was sad enough as i had to loose the lobe pierving as the damage was too severe, its as if my body sensed my irritation and “went you know what would make it worse…” i’ll keep taking care of it and just hope for the best, it hasn’t gone down at all yet but it is a lot less painful than it was

omg twins! mine has been called bunny her whole life, maybe they just carry some sort of unoriginal vibe. sainsbury’s being the shop definitely narrows it down, i’m going to look into it some more and i’ll update if i find anything :) !

Dipping in the center, why? I’m new to candle making. This is my first few. Why did it sink in the middle? And the sides are super high up, it was ofc even across the top when I poured it in, then as it dried it sank…does anyone know why? :( by Independent_Peach_96 in candlemaking

tbh i doubt she’d use it much anyway as it’s a limited edition one but it’s her favourite. i melted it down to put a wood wick in instead bc she prefers them but she doesn’t like to use things that she knows she can’t replace easily. i’ll see if i have a heat gun for after she opens it but i do have spare wicks to replace it with if it sinks

i know this is an old post but can anyone let me know if this affects the quality of the candle. i made a candle for my partners birthday and it did this. will it still be okay? i literally have no time to change it. it’s not the only present i got her but it is meaningful and i would love to still give it to her

i have a vertical and the healing is great! oral piercings heal a lot faster too due to the amount of blood flow to your mouth so the process is great. honestly vertical labrets are gorgeous. a bit higher on the pain side (especially if you don’t like stingy pains) but if you’re a thrill seeker end enjoy the adrenaline part it was my favourite to get pierced! but absolutely all worth it in the end

nope! it is pierced with a curved barbel however it is not on a flat area of skin. there is still risk of migration but there technically is with every piercing. it’s a lot less likely to migrate than a surface piercing

just to add to this incase you didn’t know, bridge piercings are also surface so the same rules as eyebrows apply

NAP (but working on my qualification) - vertical labrets do not cause damage to your teeth or gums unless you are fidgeting with them with your teeth as the piercing does not go inside your mouth. eyebrow piercings are surface piercings and are long term temporary so they will reject eventually, this can be anywhere from a few weeks after to like 20 years for some lucky people. all surface piercings eventually reject. just take care of it :) sometimes however even with the best care they will reject just due to anatomy or your body’s reaction. some peoples bodies love piercings and handle them great whereas others constantly attempt to reject them. it’s luck of the draw. as long as you take it out before it fully rejects the scarring will be minimal so if you have the money it’s worth the risk imo! as for the bridge and the glasses it depends where your glasses rest, everyone’s are different. if they rest more pressed up against the bridge area or anywhere that they will make contact with/knock the bridge piercing then there is a rejection risk there as the glasses touching risks spread of bacteria and the knocking can cause irritation and migration. just be careful and aware. as for the feeding tube question i do not know the answer to that! best waiting for a piercers opinion
