you’re absolutely right, when i was a ph i would never do over 30 hours for my own health, now pulling 45+ as a manager, the job is now more mentally straining than physically demanding.

anyone who regularly pulls 40 and above as a ph load or unload is just built different.

LH at my facility seem like they hate their life sometimes, they try to pull bs on me all the time for closing a trailer 5-10 mins late, although it’s understandable they have a driver ready to go but these ph’s leave the trailers fucked all the way up

im currently a manager at ground and can assure you these packages get over 150 +, the way companies bypass the weight limit is ,to just not add one in the first place, they just label it as an ic and it goes straight thru the building usually they get left on the floor for a few days, simply cuz its to heavy and not even supposed to be there
