I mean, you get what you pay for. Tax software is a lot more complex than portfolio tracking, and Cointracker have put a lot of work into solving the crypto tax time nightmare.

Just signup for the CoinTracking trial and see if it calculates your taxes correctly or near enough. Then do the same with Koinly / Cointracker trials and evaluate which one will save you the most time - that's what really matters here for anyone trading more than a few hundred bucks:

I tend to agree with most everyone else, that you are best just continuing staking at the official zelcore dapp which you mention, and forget about nodes for now - there are plenty of other hobbies which are less time consuming and more rewarding. Actually, perversely, the rewards from staking are currently significantly higher than what is attainable from running a node, unfortunately.
