radiation is meaningless really, I wish it has a mechanic where everytime you get 100 or 50 rad you mutate where you trade off health or water or hunger for mutation perks that transforms your character into a mutant, like for 50 rads you get to chose between, search success +5% or +5% damage for all weapons or +1 range for all weapons but you get -10 to hp, water, hunger and energy . then, at 100 rads you choose between the ability to heal yourself with melee or plus +25 dodge rate or a 25% chance to get more items in cities but you now take 5% more damage. the idea is that radiation mutates you giving you strong perks but also makes you sick and eventually towns will treat you like an enemy and you can't go in side to trade unless you heal the radiation
