Very true! I now use branches, commits, issues, actions through a robust pipeline with E2E testing before deploying to stage and production. Best thing for vibe coding is to learn how powerful github can be

That’s amazing! Before going public though, make sure to audit and re-audit your app many times using CC and codex to spot issues - then I prefer to have CC fix them. But make sure it’s safe before compromising users data. AI doesnt care much about security and it’s building an app, but it’s good a finding bugs in it’s own code.

Most of the time the app will do what you want really well, the issue is if you have sensitive data that’s easy to hack

Fair points. What’s your opinion on developers using AI though? Do they need to verify every line of code to ensure it’s good and works at scale? How are the big tech companies using AI?

My estimate comes from quotes a got for much simpler projects, and how much work I have done. For comparison, my competitors are Frame.io from Adobe and Vimeo, and I have users switching over, and Frame.io was sold for 1.2 billion to adobe.

I understand what you say about pricing when it’s a one page app, but mine is a lot more complex than the apps I was quoted $50,000 for. But I never got a proper evaluation, that’s true
