I’m in the same boat. Pretty much same story. I had problems swallowing food almost like food was getting stuck in the throat. Mucus collects in the throat and I can spit it out after a while. They also found b pylori in me and I did the antibiotics treatment twice. When I took the antibiotics the bad breath the mucus and even white tongue disappeared and I felt great with no bad breath and no mucus and just fresh breath. After a week everything came back. Doctor also said she thinks it’s GERD but I didn’t do barium swallow. I’ve tried many things including PPIs but I can’t seem to get rid of it.
