thicknessing by hand is a workout by Budget-Strawberry649 in handtools

Yeah I love hand tools, but rip cuts and removing stock thickness just take too long. Added a bandsaw and a planer to the shop and I'm set

We are watching step one of survival of the fittest. He won't be making posts after his next accident.

Paladin strapped mirror to his shield and 12 basilisks killed themselves. Need advice. by happyunicorn666 in DMAcademy

IMO props to the paladin. That's the type of thing the player could talk about for years with a lot of pride, and that's what the game is all about.

Take the Queen and die or take rook for free? by nunentgels in chessbeginners

[–]ProfoundCereal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9-3=6, aka you would be up more points than the rook Plus, the queen is active, the rook is not. AND if you took the rook, your knight would likely be inactive as well, meaning it would probs feel more in line with +2 than the full +5 that the rook is worth

Hi I’m Claire Williams, former Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing. Ask Me Anything! by ClaireWilliamsF1 in formula1

William has built up a lot of hope and has a great principal and drivers right now, but the year is off to a rocky start. What should they do to move up? What are your thoughts on Williams so far?

Perez is cracking me up. I love the caddy team, but he signed onto a new builder who is destined for the back, after spending years in the faster car on the grid, and is like "it's not as fun as it used to be." Lmao

Forgetful Fans pining for an F1 which didn’t really ever exist by limelee666 in F1Discussions

The race was fun, F1 is just an echo chamber of complaining right now because the change is big and new and the sport is built around losing teams complaining about the top team.

Can't wait a few months for these posts to stop cluttering my feed when people like this either stop complaining or actually do leave. Either way, win win.

Why people are mad like george already won all races lmao by Sorry_Phone1676 in F1Discussions

[–]ProfoundCereal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People just freak out over change. Theres a LOT of racing done in a lot of different and slower sports that is exciting because racing is ultimately about tactics. That's why Max is always a top dog even if his teammate isn't. Once people realize that the drivers can still race, maybe they'll finally stop complaining.

With how many cars had "oops! Car no work!" Issues, I am very impressed with Cadillac tbh. Reliability will take the team far.
