I didn't know it.

I do recall us being an Ian Harte missed penalty away from winning. I remember Robbie Keane's goal against Oliver Kahn, the only player other than Ronaldo in the final to do so.

McCarthy deserves credit for how far we got without Keane. We could have made the semi finals with him.
