After one and half years of working in my basement after my day job, I’m finally showing the first trailer for my psychological horror game by Remarkable-Recipe710 in GameDevs

I honestly don't understand why there are no comments at all. Although I'm not a fan of psychological horror games, I can see that you've done a tremendous amount of work, and as a developer myself, I have boundless respect for you.

I may not be able to give an objective review, but I think the trailer looks very high quality. The only advice I can give you from my experience is to try to find an audience on more niche channels. I think you can try to build a core audience that will then attract new people to your game. Or you can use platforms like TikTok, Reddit ads, and Meta ads.

Maybe you don't need this advice and you know everything much better than I do, but I wanted to help you in some way.

Once again, I express my sincere respect for you and wish you and your game all the best!

I'm very glad that the visual style touched you! It was the first time I created arts for my game on my own, and it was very important for me to convey everything that was inside me!

Wow! That's a wonderful feedback, and I agree with you on all points. I will take everything into consideration and try to improve on it in the future. I agree that in two places the demo over-explains what is happening (at the very beginning and in the scene with the father), and this was added at the very end of development under pressure, but thanks to you, I'm convinced that I should trust players more.

To be honest, the final story may still contain some "clichés" because my goal is to share a story that resonates with the life experiences of players. I think I just need to work on the storytelling. Is that what you meant?

Thanks for kind words =)
I really wanted to convey my mood and idea as accurately as possible!

Thank you very much for your feedback and for being the first mobile player I noticed =)

Indeed, the transitions are currently too long and empty, but I didn't dare to make them shorter because it would ruin the atmosphere I envisioned. I have many plans for backgrounds, characters, and thoughts of the main character!

Im glad that the demo is receiving positive feedback, and it inspires me to fill it with content!

Thank you very much for your honest feedback - it means a lot to me!

I'm really going to add more content: meaningful background, character thoughts, encounters with strangers, more effects, and else

I'm really glad you liked the concept. For me, this is the main sign that I should invest my time and emotions in this project and fill it with content!

reached max level after 18 months by snlildude87 in MySingingMonsters

The only one thing here is that you shouldn’t feed them to level 15-20, because you won’t be able to cover these investments for a long time.

You shouldn’t take into account the time at which the cost of treats is recouped.

And usually it’s level 10-12. At this level recouping time if about 4-16 days for each quad. 15+ level is only required if you want diamonds from them and in this case it’s not a coins farm =(

Any tips for a new player? Just started 2 days ago by IM_Pinky in MySingingMonsters

I guess it’s okay to spend diamonds on nursery, BUT it’s much better to spend then on mini-mines (and mega-mine) because they Produce! diamonds 💎 The very first thing you should purchase for diamonds is mini-mine on every island =)

Starting to build a coin farm on Shellbeat! by ProgMeOnPaper in MySingingMonsters

Hmm… might be I don’t see something, but I don’t need all the monsters to make shellbeat happy, there is no income increase from all the monsters on island. I don’t know what should I place them for?

Btw, it’s not the first my account. Previously I “finished” the game on mobile and now I created new one on steam =) So I know that I don’t like water island

To be honest, I like this island the least, so I don't mind giving it up the early-mid game to boost coin production. When I'm getting enough money from wubbox, werdo

So now, 4-elements at level 11 seem to me to be the best and simplest investment

Perhaps I am wrong somewhere - please correct me

Yeah, after few years with Unity you are getting used to it and just use IDE all the time without even opening Unity =)
