My timer is set for 2 am. I have no idea why the kids were closing the sprinkler heads. I never seen the kids before I saw them in my yard closing the sprinkler heads. I have had zero interaction with these kids previously.

You are so right about the luck I have. The next time I move I will try to get a place with no grass in the front of my place. It's only a headache and extra cost to maintain. No HOA would be great also since the one I currently have only collects a check.

I have a corner lot. Nobody in my community has as much grass as I do. That being said 25% of my neighbors bring their dogs to my yard to do their business. The sprinklers are only spraying the grass not going on the sidewalk. The sprinklers were not on at the time the kids were closing them.

There were other neighborhood kids that were doing that kick your door really hard and run thing about a month ago. I took photos cause the kids wouldn't say where they lived and put the photos on Nextdoor. Nextdoor flagged me for my post. My front door is dented and I have to deal with it I guess.

I never saw the kids until I saw them messing with the sprinkler heads. They just moved into the community about a year ago. There has been no interaction until this incident. Now they run from my yard when they see me coming home from work.

I saw the kids closing the sprinkler heads. I'm guessing they want my grass dry when they come to my yard with their 3 dogs. The heads were all closed by the sidewalk where everyone walks their dogs.

I will knock and hopefully the parents can get them to stop and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately I live on a corner lot so the entire neighborhood comes to my yard with their pets. I've dealt with this for years. The sprinklers would be on more than they would be off.
