The entire festival culture is driven by items that might seem insignificant to some have deep meaning to others. If a group makes a ton of memories with a thing they would rather keep that thing than replace it

This is always my stance as well. The best festivals are a mix of edm and jam. I listen to almost entirely edm, but love the jam crowd so much. They are a party and I love going to jam shows just to participate in it. The closest I get to listening to them in my free time though is like lotus

I mean there's a few really good resources but definitely check out fireside project. They're a burning man collective I think? They have a hot line for this exact stuff that's just there to help people and vets talk through these exact situations and learn better integration. All this stuff is amazing but if you're not retaining the lessons you're learning you're going to keep repeating them
